Registration Deadlines
Registration Period for January and Spring 2026:
November 8-14, 2025
Registration Period for Summer and Fall 2026:
April 18-24, 2026
Early registration is strongly recommended to allow time for assigned pre-reading and to avoid space limitations. If space is available, students may be able to register up until the day before a class is scheduled to begin.
Bexley Seabury intensive courses generally require degree and diploma students to complete reading and assignments before the first meeting of class on campus. Because of this requirement, students who wish to register after the following deadlines may need to obtain the permission of the instructor.
Auditing Courses for Enrichment or Continuing Education Credit
Most courses at Bexley Seabury are open to persons who do not require graduate academic credit, such as auditors seeking enrichment and those seeking to satisfy CEU requirements. These students are expected to read assigned materials and to participate in class discussions. Submission of assignments is not required. The instructor may, but is not required to, read or respond to assignments voluntarily submitted by those not taking the course for academic credit.
Students who require a CEU certificate should contact the Registrar, registrar@bexleyseabury.edu. The fee for the certificate is $25.00.
Non-Credit Registration: See below under Special Students
Cross-listed Courses
Some of our courses are listed with more than one-course number. Doctor of Ministry (DMin) students must register under the 600-level course number to receive doctoral-level credit. All other students should register under the 300-, 400-, or 500-level course number.
Course Formats
Bexley Seabury’s non-residential model of theological education allow us to offer courses in a variety of formats that enable students to remain in their local contexts and to study at a pace that fits their professional and personal responsibilities. We typically offer courses in the following formats:
Intensives are held on campus for one week in January or summer. Students will stay connected online and may have assignments to do before, after, or in between sessions on campus.
Hybrids blend online teaching and learning (live, self-paced, or both) with sessions that meet on campus for one or two weekends in fall and spring or fewer than five weekdays in January and summer.
Fully online courses do not require visits to campus. They are as interactive as possible and often include both synchronous (“live” in real time) and asynchronous (on your own time) sessions.
In hyflex courses, students will have the option to join the course on site or online. Some restrictions may apply.
